End of Semester 1

This is my candle holder project finished! It took a very long time to glaze but it was worth it! I really like the outcome!

the colors that i used on the designs were: 1. Gold shino
                                                                    2. Chun Plum
                                                                    3. Yellow
the colors that i used for the base were: 1. Dark Blue
                                                                2. Second Hand Rose
First, i applied two coats of the colors for the designs.  The colors were all brushed on.
Second, I applied wax resist to the designs with glaze on. Then i dipped the piece in Dark Blue, let it dry and then dipped in again in Second Hand Rose. It was a long process!
